Film.

American-born to Belgian and Iranian parents, Kamran studied journalism before selling his soul to build an award-winning advertising career. He later left it behind to work under filmmakers and writers including Ramin Bahrani, Paul Laverty, Rupert Sanders, and Yann Demange.

Now based in New York City with creative partner Emma Mitchell –– deemed a similar flight risk by the likes of UTA, Cinetic Media, and Marvel Studios –– the two remain at large with a shared focus on their own storytelling.

Their work together explores a range of genres, often through a satirical lens to help make sense of the world around them –– or at least try to, which usually leaves them more confused.
