A dual Belgian-US citizen of Iranian descent, Kamran studied journalism at university before selling his soul to build an award-winning career in advertising. He later left it behind to work as a creative assistant on projects for Ramin Bahrani, Paul Laverty, Rupert Sanders, and Yann Demange.

Now based in NYC with writing partner Emma Mitchell (previously of UTA and Cinetic Media), their work explores a range of genres -- often through a satirical lens to help make sense of the world around them. Or at least try to, which usually leaves them more confused.
